"The owner was lovely, as were rest of the staff. We had a warm welcome and a tour of our room prior to check-in. The Superior room was incredible. Really nicely furnished, clean, plenty of complimentary amenities. We had an amazing meal in the evening - one of the nicest we've had in Slovenia, followed by an equally enjoyable breakfast. "This is set up for Cyclists to park bikes, has a hot tub and pool indoors. A little dated, but clean and comfortable. Thé room could have better air circulation- leaving the windows open helped. Good breakfast and dinner buffet"

"The suite was huge with a lot of room and beautiful views of the lake and castle. The only drawback of the entire stay was the check in process. We got there early around 12 and we were just dismissed as being there too early. Took us a few minutes to find someone to help us store our bags as the first person told us to come back at 2. Otherwise the property is exceptional especially the pool and sauna area. The gym is somewhat sparse but there’s another gym close by that was $10 for a day pass."

The hotel is one of the highest in the area, which means the lake views are completely unobstructed. The scenery was absolutely beautiful, and the peaceful, quiet atmosphere made it even more enjoyable.
