We had to check-in at the neighbouring hotel but that wasn't the end of the world. I didn't get "budget hotel" vibes from this place at all. B&B HOTEL Lübeck-Hbf
The room was fine - clean and warm. The reception staff were very helpful. The only downside was the automatic check-in machine, which was quite a faff and took ages to complete.

Radisson Blu Senator Hotel
Room was clean, price very reasonable for a 5* and so close to city centre. My only gripe was the noise level given the room location - I was close to the inner hotel area, 1002, and bar music & chatter was on until midnight, also the location felt like a thoroughfare, either the staff was vacuuming ...
