"Old building that has been well maintained and kept the original look. We were put in the more modern portion to accommodate 3 of us. Pleasantly surprised with the open air museum and proximity to most WWI sites."

"Lovely hotel in the centre of Ypres, close enough to the Menin Gate to hear The Last Post if you leave the window open. Staff are great, really helpful and the breakfast is awesome. Bonus points for the bed being big enough to play tennis on. This was our second visit and we're due back there at the end of this week."

"Perfect for our short stay - Well presented hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Great location for visiting Lille or for a stop en route elsewhere. Surrounded by a good selection of restaurants, and we enjoyed sitting on the patio watching planes and gliders take off from the aérodrome next door. Room was comfortable, clean and quiet, and there was a good selection at breakfast. Parking was plentiful and free, which seemed to be rare in the area. We will certainly stay again."

"Nous avons passé une nuit pour visiter Lille. L’endroit est paisible, à 15 minutes du centre-ville, avec beaucoup de nature et de verdure. L’hôtel, vu de l’extérieur, est bien entretenu et les chambres étaient correctes. Quelques points négatifs cependant : les volets des fenêtres ne se fermaient pas totalement, ce qui laissait entrer la lumière — gênant pour ceux qui aiment dormir dans le noir. "Mooie grote schone kamer. Personeel was erg behulpzaam en ondernam direct actie toen we om hulp vroegen. Ontbijt was zo goed. Zo uitgebreid. Dit was zo goed en lekker! Op loopafstand, door een mooi park naar het centrum. In 1 woord:Geweldig."
