"Hotel was lovely. Breakfast was incredible, the nicest of our stay with enormous selection of pastries and fresh orange juice. The staff were friendly and attentive. Lovely view out over the Nile and the pool was very relaxing. The only downside was the hotel gym, which looked good but about 70% of the machines didn't work or were broken which was unfortunate."

"I will 100% stay here when I come back. The palace is CLEAN, QUIET, and BEAUTIFUL. The entire hotel was architecturally beautiful and clean. I was one of a few guests at the hotel and felt/was treated like royalty. The owner is a wonderful, kind, and helpful woman. The hotel offers a free boat to cross to the east bank which was a blessing. With the hotel being on the West Bank, there is little noise at night meaning you can hear all the sounds the Nile has to offer. Absolutely wonderful...

"This hotel is atrocious. The positive reviews on Expedia are fraudulent. The entire hotel (our room included) smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. The towels and bedding are stained brown. The AC barely works and the WiFi is nonexistent. The food was terrible. cold, stale, and bland. I’m a seasoned, international traveler. This hotel is much worse than an $11 hotel room in Vegas."

"Rooms are dated, but clean. Location on the Nile is very nice and breakfast is very good. Staff are too pushy with tipping, making the stay unpleasant. Taxi drivers outside the hotel are also very pushy, making it difficult to sometimes leave the hotel."

"Clean room. Close to some tourist attractions. Since it's very hot in Luxor, some food items on their breakfast need to be refrigerated like yogurt, cheese, etc. to avoid spoilage. Just be careful of anything you eat to avoid stomach issues. Staff very helpful. Good hotel for those on budget."
