"Hotel is old, needs deep cleaning and furniture. Bed was comfortable. "

"staff was great. the place is under renovation but construction is everywhere in the building. hot water in the shower is almost luke warm. and even after staff cleaned the room ants continued to be a problem."

"Glad I stayed here through a tornado warning. Nice old hotel with lots of original features. The lack of a front desk person and the inability to use the elevator (though I did not try since prior reviews said it had to be operated by one of them) dinged this hotel. I had no trouble parking, but I arrived late and left early."

"My TV wasn’t working when I arrived but the staff did a great job of changing it out. The property was fine, just a lot of construction. Overall the staff was very friendly and helpful."

"There were dead bugs in the hallway the room smelled like mold and cigarettes there was blood and other questionable stains on the bedspread and poop was smeared in the bathroom we had to buy our own cleaning supplies to clean the room so that we could stay we were booked thursday through Sunday and we left Saturday morning because we couldn't stand another night not to mention the windows in our room would not lock not to mention when this was all mentioned to staff they completely disregarded...

"Booked online friday afternoon for a king size for the same night. I get down the road from the hotel around 4 to find a message on my Expedia account saying they are sold out sorry. Turns out they werent sold out when I booked my room, they gave my room away to someone who walked in and didnt tell me until 4. So if your from out of town, you might want to call to make sure your room wasnt given away before you get there."

"The unit was very clean.The bed and bedding was very comfortable.TV and AC worked great with no issues.It felt newly decorated. I actually enjoy the quirkiness of staying in "non-hotel" rooms and this one didn't disappoint so FYI: there is no outlet in the kitcehn except behind he fridge so it you want to use the toaster, you'll need to plug in the living room.the shelves in the kitchen are so tall, there is no way to reach the cookware above the second shelf and the lowest shelf just had...
