"It is a good hotel with good location. You can walk to MG road. Restaurant is good.The staff is excellent especially Bikash who went out of his way to help. Their outsourced travel service is a weak link. Transfer from Bagdogra to hotel was disappointing with a rash driver and a small taxi with poor springs that made for a very uncomfortable trip on a bumpy road. We were promised a trip to Tsomgo lake and Baba Mandir but the driver would not go to Baba Mandir. I would look for another travel...

"In the heart of m g marg. Beautiful hotel with wood windows, doors etc. very tastefully furnished. staff are polite, breakfast is small but adequate. Good supply of hot water. Would definitely recommend. Mind you there’s no elevator so be prepared to climb over 60 steps to the penthouse. "

We were told that the building was a guest house for royal guests. The building has 5 floors and each floor has 4-5 rooms, all with a view of the mountains. We stayed at the top floor with access to the terrace. Be aware that there is no elevator. The staff was very friendly and nice. There are no eating places nearby but there is a full restaurant in the hotel and the food was excellent. Highly recommend this hotel for a true Sikkim experience. "
