"We stayed at Hotel Visconti during a heat wave in Europe. The hotel is nice and clean, a little out dated but charming. The staff and breakfast are fantastic, the only real gripe I had is the air conditioning is basically useless, we bought a 10 euro handheld fan from a street vendor that was keeping us more cool than the air conditioning. "Good hotel and very kind staff but I’d say this hotel is more suitable for couples or single people not really great with kids as there is nothing for children to do in the hotel or around the area. This hotel is a 18 minute drive from central Milan so if you don’t have a car this could be a problem and there is no shops near by. Overall good hotel just be mindful of the distance to city centre."

"How this hotel earned four stars is a mystery. It looks like it was designed by a high teenager. The most unacceptable thing was a backed up sink with hair that would just emerge and linger. I told the guy at the counter after check in but he neglected to fix it. "Great place to stay if you need to be around this area. Huge rooms, our had a private bathroom but across the corridor, which was a minor thing but easy to use anyway. It is not in the centre of Milan, you will need to take tube to get to Milan, it is easy and convenient and the town where is located is beautiful.
