"I was on a very busy business travel and really wanted to use the bar and restaurant but it was closed on one of the days for an exclusive business event. It was a busy evening due to a soccer match and none of the nearby restaurants and bars had decent seating or enough food. Treadmill was mis calibrated - the speed was off by more than 20%. Yes I checked the mph / kmph units. Food was excellent. Not enough power ports in the room near the bed."

"You get what u r paying for. Cheap accommodation, 5 minutes away from the subway. Super small rooms, but ok for me because I was in Barcelona to visit the city, not to watch TV in the hotel room!"

"Overall experience was great and it is in a very good location. However one thing I would suggest is that they upgrade to better pillows or get more. I couldn’t really have a restful night because of how uncomfortable they were. We did request extras several times but we were told they didn’t have any. "

"I absolutely loved my stay at AMISTAT City Hostel! The vibe was amazing and the staff were truly incredible - so kind, helpful, and always going above and beyond (I would give them 6/5 stars if I could!). "The location is about a 25 minute train ride from the city central, however the train is easily accessible, about 4 blocks. Excellent location if you visit in the summer because the beach is about 4 blocks away. The hotel was clean and staff was pleasant. The bar drinks were expensive ($18) for Spain standards. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and I would recommend it."

"The hotel was super clean and location was excellent. BUT this review is for the staff. I had the most wonderful experience with the amazing staff at the front desk. First, a blonde lady (sorry I forgot her name) greeted us when we arrived way before check in time and was incredibly nice, sweet and helpful. Then, when we came back at 3 for check-in there was a second lady that was very nice as well. I went down to the lobby at around 11:45 pm or later to make a phone call and the young man that...

"Very clean room! Some things need improvement for example the reception staff second shift none of them spoke English. Every night that I came back into the room my card had always a problem! I had to go down again to re-configure it because I was not able to enter the room! This happened 2 times. On top of it they always forgot to put the right number of towels into the room! Fair connection with the metro but a but far away from the city."
