"I liked staying there"

"Room was spacious! Room design was very modern. The cool thing was the stargazing skylight. There was a slope or ramp to go up the 2nd level rooms so totally easy and effortless. THe large window overlooking the lake and the mountain range was so nice. We could see the sunrise from our bed and sunset colours on the mountains while sipping coffee at the table too. Room came with a bathtub but there was no bubble bath soap to use. Anyways no time as we went stargazing till late. Just 5min drive...

"Located by Lake Tekapo, within 3 min drive to The Church of the Good Shepherd & easy access to local shops and restaurants. The rooms are well proportioned with kitchenette, bathroom and in our case, balcony looking toward Mt John. The reception isn’t staffed 24/7 but near checkin time (3pm). Staff were very conscious to advise us to read the in-room directory, which we wished we had, especially as it advised guests of the air raid siren, located across the spill way on the fire station to alert...

"I was given a handicapped-accessible room even though I did not request one. As a tall person, the low sink was uncomfortable and difficult to use. The cleanliness was the biggest issue. After using the shower, I wiped down the floor with a towel, and the towel came away black with dirt. After seeing that, I started wearing flip-flops in the bathroom. The carpet in the room also appeared very dirty and did not feel clean. Unfortunately, the overall cleanliness and condition of the room were...

"Lovely stay Ann-Maree was so welcoming lovely room with an amazing view and all the amenities you could hope for. Ended our visit with a superb breakfast and lots of tips for our onward travel and a great podcast recommendation for the drive to Mount Cook. Hope to return one day."

"Beautiful room with great view of the lake, church and southern alps at Lake Tepako. Very modern, well furnished, and warm for our winter stay. Very close to cafes and restaurants. We stayed two nights for our visit and Heli hike to Mt Cook. Would definitely stay again."
