"We loved the location of the 21C Hotel in Cincinnati. Right in the heart of downtown and walkable. If you have a car, be prepared for a $45 per night Valet charge. There is no microwave or refrigerator in the room, but a staff member brought us one to use in our room. The check in staff ( at the desk ) all seemed stand offish and didn’t seem too interested that we were guests there. ( sighed when we asked questions ). The rooms were nice, spacious with comfy beds. No free coffee or breakfast ."

"Check in was quick...even with the computers mis-behaving. The hotel has been refurbished and it looks really nice. Breakfast is basic but perfect for me. They offer Danishes, cereal, coffee, eggs, sausage and make your own waffles. This was kept up well during the morning I was there for 4 nights, they do not offer any cleaning during that stay. The only thing that i found highly disappointing was the heavy Marijuana odor in the early mornings (7 am anyone?) and afternoons. I was in room 137 near the pool. These smells could not have been coming from the rooms b/c the doors are too heavy. I can only think the person was opening their door to exhale (a ton) OR smoking in the hall. If that is the case there are enough cameras to see this happen. For a "non smoking" hotel...this was surprising and a little rough so early. Overall...I like it here...I will be back...but the smoking situation needs to be taken under control"

"Everything was very clean and nice. However there is a master switch to control all lights. There was also a master switch that controlled the bath area attached to the bedroom and the light in the toilet/shower area. So at night, while there was a nightlight that lit the area outside the water closet and the bedroom, there is no light in the water closet."

"OK place, a tad dated. Room was fine. I did have a slow draining tub. Asked for it to be addressed. Did not happen. Will stay somewhere else for the value."

"We booked the Hyatt-Regency based on its location and reputation. The lobby, staff were magnificent. The room was clean, but basic. You would see a similar room for less money elsewhere. Two disposable cups for a little Keurig coffee maker, with coffee pods to make 4 cups of coffee (2 decaf and 2 regular), but just enoughsugar and creamer to make 2 cups. Buffet breakfast was included during our stay. Instead of walking in to the restaurant, we were directed to the front desk to have them give the okay for our included breakfast. Breakfast itself was okay, but we had to wait for a server to bring us utensils. By then, the breakfast was cold. I can only recommend to make this breakfast process less confusing, like show your room key to get access to breakfast. All in all, we went from Wow the moment we walked in, to Meh the moment we walked out. Great staff, very clean, fantastic location, but we expected more for the price."

"Kim at the front desk was so sweet!! We came in really late and she did everything possible to make sure we were comfortable. Especially my girls and gave us extra towels and covers plus a later checkout which was much appreciated after arriving at 3am not expecting to make it in that late."
