"Resort was designed fantastically with salt pool, function room, tennis courts, manucured gardens with water featers, gazebos, viewing areas, nice grassed spaces. Beautiful location on side of a hill with views and bus stop right out front, but beware it is a slight walk from the wharf.
Slightly past it's prime but the bones are solid and rooms at amaroo newly refurbished which means you get all the benefit for great price.
Small downside is as the resort rooms are privately owned there is no resort/Amaroo reception. Amaroo is one operator of rooms within the resort but you won't check in with a person or have anywhere to securely leave your bags on your first or last day if that's an issue. Otherwise fantastic experience and would return."
