Makadi Bay hotel guide. Red Sea Hotels hotel in Makadi Bay, Red Sea Governorate

We had a wonderful stay overall. The rooms was clean, spacious, and well-maintained. Special thanks to the front desk team, who were incredibly welcoming, professional, and went out of their way to make our family feel at home from the moment we arrived. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

We read excellent review about the Oberoi and they responded to all our expectations. The food was delicious and fresh. The staff was very attentive to details. We chose a room with a private swimming pool in the back garden. It was nice to have a quiet place to read and play with my son of 9 years old. We were also there for the Easter break holiday and the staff organised a nice cocktail on the terrasse watching the stunning moonlight, some activities for the children on Easter morning and...

I really love this hotel. It’s so beautiful in a very quiet area of Makadi Bay. My room was huge, and I had a lovely view of the pool. I asked for a quiet room and they gave that to me. I had a few issues but I spoke to Hager (customer relations) and the General Manager and all was resolved quickly and I stayed on two extra days. The food is varied and there is a lot of it. Try their specialised restaurants as they are a treat (you need to book). The hotel should stock decaf coffee but I think...

This is a small, low-rise luxury hotel with a private beach area. Rooms are large, well equipped and, I think, all have sea views. The hotel caters for adults only and has a relaxed feel with friendly and attentive staff. I stayed on an all inclusive basis and the standard of service and food was high. Hazem on reception was especially attentive to guests ensuring that all their needs were being met while at the hotel. I used the transfer service arranged by the hotel (from Hurghada) which at 35...

Great stay! Special thanks to front desk team— they were warm, professional, and made our family feel truly welcome. Would definitely stay again!

We had a great stay in Iberotel Makadi beach. The grounds were clean and well kept. The room was clean and pleasant. Staff is friendly and makes you feel at home and the beach/amenities are very good. I recommend this hotel and will be going back again in my next visit to Egypt

Having read about 5* hotels in Egypt being a big over claim, we were preparing ourselves expecting the photos to have flattered the place, assuming it would be a bit tatty, not necessarily perfectly clean, boring food and maybe a patchy level of service. Nothing could have been further from the truth, it was SUPERB. Add to that all the staff were warm and friendly staff who couldn't do enough for you. We seemed to be the only English family in the hotel, which I have never experienced...

The hotel setting is amazing, snorkelling and diving are within walking distance The restaurants nearby open on specific days only Beach staff are very helpful, water bottles are in abundance to no need to worry

Everything was amazing. The flats were huge and very clean and the staff very friendly and welcoming.

Everyone from the hotel staff, to the cleaners, to the animation team we're nice and welcoming. I'm very picky with food but they had a massive variety and everything was clean and tasty. However if your someone that's looking to be close to the city centre this isn't the hotel for you as it's quite far from hurghada.

Great hotel

10/10 all inclusive resort. Would definitely recommend, cannot fault at all.

Excellent, clean and beautiful hotel. Having a large number of pools helps the crowd to scatter. The rooms are well maintained and the staff does a great job. We enjoyed the food and snacks very much. Only two things that could be improved is the cocktail selection and the limited number of towel stations. We had to walk quite far to get them exchanged. Overall it is an excellent, luxurious hotel.

Calm, relaxed atmosphere, good dining options and friendly helpful staff. Great hotel, we have re- booked already.

We booked a weeks break with another couple, it was our 30th wedding anniversary. The hotel was spotlessly clean and service was excellent. The food was great and also the themed restaurants were excellent especially the Alexandria. Kareem who worked on the 24hour lobby bar was funny, very polite and looked after us.

Another fantastic Rixos stay, faultless

I loved everything about the hotel, especially the staff (Emad, Ehab and Elia at the pool) and Ahmed and Eva in the restaurant. The treatment of Othman the receptionist is excellent..... I do not recommend using the spa because the staff is very bad and the price list is not fixed. The hotel is close to the airport and you do not need to leave the hotel, it is a paradise
