It is a nice & unique hotel with spacious room. But i was shocked to see a big lizard in my room . I really allergic to this species . Otherwise everything will be fine and comfortable. The hotel jetty is near & easy for us to get the night cruise . The area also close to jonker street ,

Nice river view room

We were given a room facing the river and it has a nice view. The room is huge and so is the bathroom. There was a wide variety of food at breakfast. It was great. Staffs are friendly too. Thank you for allowing us to check in before 3pm.

Staff are very attentive and rectify issue very quickly. The property decor gave us a feeling of going back in time. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Prefer to have dinner inside the restaurant rather than outdoor due to weather elements and mosquitoes. Security guard at the front is very helpful, friendly and carry our luggages to the taxi boot.

Great hotel, large rooms, lovely staff and great location in the centre of the tourism area. Really enjoyed our stay a breakfast was included and had lots of choice. Our only problem was the pool was closed for refurbishing for a couple of week which coincided with our stay. We were not aware this would be the case when we booked a couple of weeks earlier. There was a lovely pool at their next door property though which they kindly escorted us to. Think this is probably the best hotel and location for Melaka centre.

Overall it’s a good hotel. However it’s not comparable with 5 stars hotel service. The breakfast is not attractive at all, there is a few chairs at the pool,, the gym is old and not well maintained. The most of staff is friendly. The pool staff is not at the pool, the guest cannot ask the towels. Tthe pool bar staff said he is bot pool staff and he does not know anything about the pool. Need a phone to reception or pool staff.

Very wonderful, friendly staff. We stayed 4 nights and was advised by the B/F staff that they would provide us with "special" cuisine to prevent us from getting bored with their B/F options. We felt that there were plently of choices.We had special.meals on the 3rd & 4th day specially prepared for us by their chefs. I had stayed 10Nights at 2 different Singapore hotels & no one considered we may be bored with their B/F options. Also, the hotel manager met us and responded to our queries re where to find local peranakan cuisine. She helped organize transport for us to get to our destinations without difficulty..Highly recommend all who vidit Melaka to stay at Casa Del Rio

Handy location

Super welcoming, friendly and helpful reception staff. Loved their welcome cool towels and sorbet. The reception area is designed in such a way it channels the air and makes it very cool when returning from exploring. Room was very spacious, loved the outdoor patio area. Enjoyed the evening burner in the room for smell and for preventing mosquitoes. Loved the rooftop pool. Thought the breakfast was a bit blah. Staff seemed somewhat indifferent. Some of the food did not appear to be very fresh. Dining area was unpleasantly freezing cold (not just for us) so elected to sit outside. This area is inadequate for the number of people who elected to sit outdoors. Overall - not really value for money. So many other places also as handy location wise, that are much cheaper.

This time,I will make a serious comment to your hotel. Honestly to say, The hotel itself is very good, but I felt that the staff could have been better educated. It was a pity that the hotel could not meet the very simple requests of the guests, and that the necessary equipment such as bath towels etc., was not available. It may be 5 star in Malacca, but it is not at the level of global 5 star hotel like a Riz carton, Four seasons, Marriott and others. However, the management class has a high level of hospitality, and I felt that they are aiming for a global 5 star hotel. Please do your best.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Casa del Rio Melaka. All the staff from the reception, doorman, restaurant, cleaners, gardeners wete all very helpful, polite and courteous and would go out of their way to help you. We would recommend this hotel for a relaxing stay.

We stay in a river-front room: amazing. Excellent Nyonia cuisine at restaurant. Rich and varied breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff.
