Feeling a little sad to be leaving, I was surprised and deeply touched when the staff arranged a private dinner for me at a little table set directly in front of the shimmering sea. It was the perfect farewell. If you’re looking for over-water villas and flashy luxury, this is not the place for you. But if what you seek is peace, cleanliness, simple but delicious meals, and truly outstanding service, Belmar Beach is a gem. I know I’ll be back.
