Stroll along Singing Beach, where the sand squeaks underfoot, then explore the quaint downtown's boutiques and seafood spots. Nearby, Essex's antique shops and Gloucester's fishing heritage offer additional New England charm to round out your coastal getaway.
You need to climb a couple of flights of stairs if on the upper floor. Bob is the most wonderful host, the premises are very clean, great decor, and an ideal location for whale watching trips, scenery, and good food locations.

Thisnis a receptionless hotel. Rose who i spoke to on the phone was amazing and managed to sort out an issue btwn hotel.com and expedia for my email address. The hotel was nice. The room was clean, the bed was a little hard. I couldnt hear any of the other guests which was a bonus and the air con worked a treat. But you cant close the curtains as they are screwed in place.

The house is clean, very presentable and comfortable. After taking the curtesy bus from Logan airport to the waterfront, the water taxi which takes 10 mins and costs $10 pp. We took the Salem ferry at $17pp across to Salem. The ferry man was kind enough to help us with our heavy case. I knew i was among...

This is an absolutely beautiful place to stay, with the house tastefully and sympathetically decorated throughout. Sorry, stealing some decorating ideas. The rooms are lovely and well equipped with everything you could need, including tea and coffee making facilities, a fridge and, If I remember correctly, even a microwave. The bed was extremely comfortable and bathroom very modern with an excellent shower. The location is perfect with ample parking. It’s just a short walk from the main harbour,...

We realised before boarding a flight from London that we wouldn’t be at the hotel during reception hours.
I emailed to advise this and not only did I receive excellent details via email, John also telephoned me upon arrival in the US to ensure I had everything I needed.
Excellent customer service
. Thank you
