"The pool was beautiful, and overall the hotel itself was nice. However, there definitely seemed to be a lot of upselling at the front desk for a “privileged” package that didn’t really seem to offer much value. The beach is also very rocky, so I would definitely recommend bringing water shoes.
There were no discounts offered for the spa, and although the room was clean, it wasn’t ready when I first arrived. They offered me what they called an upgraded room, but it ended up being the same room type I originally booked. They also described it as an “upgraded ocean view,” even though there really wasn’t any view of the ocean.
Despite those issues, the hotel itself was still nice and the pool area was definitely a highlight."
