beautiful

This is a very beautiful place, we stayed on the top floor and had a lot of space to ourselves which we loved. Bed and bathroom were super nice. Note that these rooms vertually have no walls, just fly net so keep that in mind if you are a couple with no kids on a romantic holiday..... we still loved staying here tho, always slept well

Llegamos al lugar y nos dimos con la sorpresa de que el hotel no está atendiendo desde que empezó la pandemia. Un señor salió a decirnos que él solo está cuidando el hotel que es de su amigo, y que no hay reservas por ahora. Él no tenía conocimiento de nuestra reserva en esta web.

Great boutique hotel except for noise

I stayed for 4 nights in the one person room at La Maison. Jose and his wife were excellent, super-responsive hosts with great suggestions for local restaurants. The breakfast (included) was lovely as was the hotel with its Indonesian-style bungalows that are exotic yet comfortable. My only complaint is about the noise. The single person room is located across the street from another home with a noisy dog that would start barking at 6 am and sometimes even earlier. Because the walls are made of wooden planks there is no soundproofing and you can clearly hear the dog barking and and other guests in the adjacent room. Luckily the guests next door slept at around 11 pm during my stay, but the dog woke me up everyday at 6 am. Not ideal if you've got morning surfing classes!

The Hotel was closed - DO NOT BOOK

The hotel is not operating; I arrived with 3 people at 1am with luggage in a foreign country and the hotel was CLOSED. Neighbors told me that the hotel has been nonoperating for a month. I had to look for another place that was horrible in some neighbor's house that was renting the room for me and my family to stay. HIGHLY Disappointed.
