"We had a wonderful stay and cannot fault anything. The accommodation, set amongst the orange groves, was amazing and we particularly loved the salt water swimming pool and rooftop terrace. Breakfast was beautifully presented and offered plenty of choice. Many thanks to Sergio, OD, and his staff who made our stay so memorable. Ola Yogi. We hope to return next year."

"Beautifully renovated palatial building, with some great design features. Right in the centre of the old town and very short walk to the Roman Bridge. The staff were exceptional, very helpful with nothing too much trouble. The hotel is well planted out with two outside garden areas. There is a spa, but the sauna is not yet finished and we didn't use the other facilities. My only quibble about the room was the lack of any drawers to put things in, and a TV above a desk where there should...

"Nice clean place with very responsive staff. They were extremely helpful via WhatsApp as I was arriving with a late check in. Cute location, free packing down the block, no issues. Clean room with good working AC. Bathroom was a little run down but completely adequate condition for the price of the room. very nice view from the top balcony off the communal kitchen, you can see the lighthouse. Great value stay, would come again if stopping in the area. "

"Sehr schönes Hotel mit modernen Zimmern. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Waren zu 4 unterwegs und hatten genug Platz im Dreibett-Zimmer. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Besonders positiv ist das frische Obst zum Frühstück. Auch der Pool mit Kinderpool ist hervorzuheben. Die gesamte Anlage ist sehr gepflegt. Auch eine sehr späte Anreise um 1:30 nachts war kein Problem. Es stehen ausreichend kostenlose Parkplätze zur Verfügung. Ausschließlich beim Frühstück auf der Dachterasse (mit Aussicht!) hört...

"The hotel was very clean and well maintained, staff were friendly and helpful. Also the room was spacious and comfortable. The downside to the hotel was the indoor pool was very small and had a cover over it so couldnt be used and the bar consisted of a couple of bottles of spirits. The breakfast was plentiful with the usual continental offerings."

"Don Diego Hotel in Ayamonte is as good as you can get, the price is quite reasonable and the rooms are spacious spotlessly clean and the beds are very comfordable. I had difficulties with wi-fi but this didn't interfer with my stay. Personally, I had a very good experience in this establishment. One last negative comment the breakfast is not so good in comparrison to an Irish breakfast."
