The room was nice enough. It would be nice to have a hair dryer in the room. There were plenty of towels which I appreciate. Also the window could not be left open at night because it did not have a locking mechanism on it. Anybody could have crawled in….and the blinds did not go up. I would stay there again, but it wouldn’t be my first choice.

This is a bare bones inn. It’s all “no contact”, which means no staff available unless you leave a message that you need something. Also, the mattress and box spring are super thick so you pretty much have to high jump to get in bed. The mattress was soft and not terribly comfortable. Because it was soft if you get too close to the edge you tend to roll right off. On the plus side, there’s a (non-smart) tv, mini fridge, small microwave and an old 4-cup coffee maker. They supply packets of a local coffee, which was pretty good. If you want ice, however, you’re out of luck. All in all, not terrible but not great.

The property was very clean and everything had been remodeled so looked new. Staff was not on site but could reach them when needed. We stayed four nights and there was no cleaning but we were supplied with new towels and more coffee and soap to clean the cups. The main negative was room window was small , dirty and looked out on a large trailer used to maintain property. So we kept the curtains closed most of the time. We were within walking distance , 5 blocks, from the beach and right on edge of the small town center so everything was close-coffee shops, grocery store, retail stores. Be sure to save your code to room. We got there at 4:50 and had not saved code they sent us at 3:00. There wasn’t any internet so couldn’t retrieve. Fortunately there was someone there who helped us get in. She was very nice and helpful,

Warm welcome, SPOTLESS room, comfortable bed, quiet location, conveniently located restaurants. . . These are all things you hope for, but Sand Dune Inn has them all. The modest exterior hides a real gem.

Best Value in Manzanita

Manzanita is our favorite beach town and this location is always cheaper than other spots in the area and just as nice. Everything is walkable, the location is quiet and always clean and neat.

Lovely place

Enjoyed my stay and Angela was extremely helpful and very informative. I recommend staying here for any length and occasion. I was here on business trip but would definitely come with family. Great food options and 5min from the beach with amazing views.

Clean, quiet, modern interior, simple but nice.

This is a wonderful, clean, and quiet hotel. The room was a little austere but comfortable. I called to request more pillows and blankets, which they happily placed in our room while we were out for the day. We would come back and stay, but we would need a larger room, as the studio was a bit snug and didn't have a closet.
