"Good clean spacious room in an ideal location on the edge of the old town and thus close to the many fabulous restaurants and bars and the beaches. The fridge in our room contained bottles of water and soft drinks on arrival which were replenished each day at no extra cost. Tea and coffee making facilities were provided in the reception area again at no additional cost. All in all a great place to stay"

"Everything about Villa Soro was exceptional. From the spacious room with a private garden, to the beautiful lounge areas and garden, the wonderful breakfasts and lovely staff. It was a haven to retreat to in the heat of the afternoon. We also enjoyed using the hotel bikes for transporting us all around San Sebastián. A truly wonderful stay."

"Location was sensational for a brief stay - right in the heart of Old Town, so extremely busy and bustling, and convenient to everywhere. The windows were extremely effective at keeping the significant street noise out, so the room was very comfortable and peaceful. The desk staff were extremely helpful and friendly. In our original room, the bed was facing the balcony window, which faced a series of balconies across the very narrow street. As the rooms don't have sheer curtains and the shutter...

"It was fine, not anything exciting, a very impersonal and generic feel. Robes were not put in our room, we had to ask, there were no extra towels or pillows and the beds perhaps most noticeably were not changed... and we found ourselves getting into beds with sand from the night before inside. Food was super mediocre. I'd not really recommend. Very forgettable"

"Property and people were great. Really appreciated the water and keyless entries. Close to everything but far enough to quiet rest. Only real complaint would be bathroom, starting to be a little moldy."

"The hotel was lovely, in an ideal location close to the Old Town (about a 10 min walk) and the main La Concha beach. Rooms were lovely and clean, with great air-conditioning, which was ideal for the heatwave! You can even borrow towels for the beach, you just need to leave a deposit at the front desk, which is fab if you're packing light! The only negative we have to say is the bed was really uncomfortable and definitely needs an upgrade - bedsprings we're digging into us whilst we slept!!...
