"We checked in on May 8 for my grandson’s graduation and from the moment we arrived the service was wonderful. The room was very spacious and cleaned. The hot water was wonderful I love taking very hot showers and not to many hotels water get hot enough for me but I was in heaven taking my shower. The water was so amazing I stayed in there for an extra 10 minutes. The breakfast was delicious. The gym was nice and cleaned. My stay here was wonderful."

"Had to call front desk for remote control for TV. Only problem is there are no phones in the rooms, had to call the motel from my cell phone. Pillows were old and flat, the wore out, white duvet cover had gray paint on it. Washcloths and hand towels were wore out and stained. And to top it off, no clock in the room. Breakfast was absolutely terrible, see through watered down coffee, powered eggs, and dried out sausage. Only thing good was the packaged yogurt. We left the motel and drove to Perkins. I asked for a receipt when checking out and I was told, no receipt from desk attendant. DON’T STAY HERE, MY WIFE AND I WERE SICK THE REST OF THE DAY!!!"

"Great convenient location. A lot of services nearby. But the greatness ends there. I stayed in this motel during my first visit to Brookville well over a decade ago, and its still the same carpeting. The furniture is hammered. Upholstery on the "easy chair" was so worn that it had a sheen. Toilet was running when i got in the room and i had to lift the tank cover to lower the flapper. The handle would stick in the flush position and flush quality was poor. The lamps were old, dim, flimsy and need to be replaced. There were no charging ports for phones or laptops. The microwave was not plugged in. The television was not plugged in OR connected to the cable. The television remote was held together with DUCT TAPE !!!!! The windows looked like they had never been cleaned. Disappointing."

"The owner was very nice and was very helpful in all our questions. We had reserved a room which we thought was the main house, but it ended up being in the guest house. We really wanted to stay in the main house. No questions asked, she moved us to the main house with no extra fees. She even gave us a tour of the property and showed us all the amenities. It was an absolutely beautiful room, however the bathroom definitely needs updated and maybe some suggestions will help. I understand they are trying to keep the look and feel of the historic house, but this day in age people want modern comforts. The sink was so small and sprayed water everywhere, and no counter space to put your cosmetics, etc... Turning the hot water on, took forever to get warm. There was shampoo/conditioner and body lotion samples but no shower gel which would have been helpful. The soap bars were almost the size of a quarter. We didn't see any bath mats, so we used our own towels to dry our feet on. The mirrors were so small also and the lighting was very dim. I will also note, this room had 2 beds in it and both beds were way too firm for our liking and the pillows were super thin. But if you like a very firm bed, then it will be great for you. Other then the bathroom experience, the property is gorgeous. We would have loved to have seen a longer time frame for breakfast, like a lot of the hotels 8-10am, but since it was 8-9am off season, we couldn't get down there in time and missed out."
