"The room was small, even though there were only two of us … but we knew that before booking. We chose this hotel because of its competitive price and its location. The bed was comfortable and the room, halls and grounds were clean. Initially we were concerned about noise as a large sounding dog was barking every time we passed by it’s room, and we could hear voices in the adjoining room. "We had a great stay at Cobblestone Inn & Suites in Monticello, Iowa. The hotel was very clean, quiet, and had ample parking. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy, and the staff was friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. Our room was comfortable, and the beds and pillows made for a great night's sleep. The complimentary continental breakfast was a nice way to start the morning before getting back on the road. One thing to note for future guests is that the hotel has only two floors...

"The tollette and bed were operational. The air conditioning was too. Other wise, the tv and most electrical appliances and outlets were not functioning."

"The building common areas, hallways and rooms were neat and clean and looked nice. The only concern we had was the a/c. Our room was very humid when we checked in, since the ac was off. We turned it on and it cooled the room but it didn't reduce the room humidity unless we opened the door to the hallway which had cooler, dryer air. We didn't say anything as we thought the building as a whole was having some sort of ac issue since it was a little stuffy and the breakfast room had a fan running...

"We stayed at this hotel because of the good ratings and because it was cheaper than hotels in Cedar Rapids. It is only about a 10 minute drive off of I-380 on an easy four lane road. The breakfast was great and everything was very clean. Staff was very friendly and competent. Bed was comfortable. We would stay here again."
