"The staff were so kind, I lost my Handy charger and they were great in getting it charged. Considering it had my flight check in on it; that was rather important. Offering a wee note of kindness, it was refused until I said call it a souvenir."

"Possibly the biggest room we have ever seen in a hotel! This room was massive! A huge kitchen, giant bathroom plus an extra toilet. Really great facilities including a huge, swivel TV. Brilliant view over the park and river. The room was meticulously clean and the hotel was very well presented. An excellent stay, would certainly recommend for larger families"

"The room was large and comfortable, and the staff were warm and professional. We had dinner at the restaurant for two nights, which was characterized by excellent service. A bonus was the small pool on the property that cooled us off in the 38°C heat."

"This was a secret find! A treasure of a place tucked up in the hills near the Black Forest. Historical charm, excellent room and breakfast. Wellness center exceeded my expectations. Lovely staff and easy parking. Across the street is a nice park and the town square and access to the ruins are walkable."

"Hochblauen has just been newly renovated and it does not disappoint. The new hotel is beautiful in every way. The wellness center is incredibly relaxing with breathtaking views. Speaking of views, you have them from literally every spot on this property. Just beauty as far as the eye can see in every direction. I can’t recommend this place enough. A special shout out to the staff at the restaurant/bar who are all extremely friendly and of course the hotel manager Mehmet who makes you feel like you are visiting him in his very own home. Go here. You won’t regret a single second of your stay."

"Excellent small, friendly family run hotel in the middle of this small town, within walking distance of the spa and main shops and restaurants. The restaurant is closed on Sunday and Monday evenings so, sadly, we could not eat there. The nearby Maison au Marché was excellent, but avoid the Wintzner (menu too complicated and very slow service). Good parking, great breakfast, nice outdoor seating area. EV charging about 1km away with 2 rapid chargers. Overall very comfortable and peaceful. No air conditioning but the provided fan worked well."
