"We stayed in Helena, it was very clean and well equipped. Concern about escape routes in the event of a fire. Some rooms didn’t have a large enough window to get out of. Swimming pool great, as was the hot tub. Lovely setting near Blandford. Would recommend getting shopping delivered as quite remote. "

"Decent property for a single night stay with a family. Hard to find in the dark and no parking, though on-street parking and car parks are available locally. Three bedrooms with a small kitchen and wet room. Nowhere specific to eat as a family but small tables in each room were fine. Had to phone on the day to get the key code. This could be made more obvious - or the owner could communicate more proactively. "

"We had a lovely two night couples break at Kimbers Farm. The shepherds hut is so comfortable and just the right side of luxury rustic! Possibly the comfiest bed I’ve slept in away from home. "If I could give this place 6 stars I would! From the moment we arrived to the moment we left the service was friendly and first class. The room was very nice and the bed extremely comfortable. I had the best night's sleep I have had in years.Could not find fault in any way with the evening meal and the breakfast. The young lads and lasses who were waiting on the tables both inside and out, always had a smile on their face."

The check in process was very easy and the room was everything we wanted. The location of the hotel was perfect, situated in the town centre. The food and service at the pub was great, certainly no complaints and we were very pleased to find “trickles” on the menu, something me and my partner were both very excited to try and they didn’t disappoint "
