"This place was absolutely disgusting. The smell of pot and smoke was smelt throught the entire hotel beginning with outside. The smell was unbearable. The room, awful beds, dirty sheets and towels and no basic toiletries except toilet paper and a bar of soap. We ultimately took a loss and left the facility because we could not sleep at this total dump. STAY AWAY!"

"The staff who greeted us at 11 pm after a long day were so kind and welcoming! They are a great addition to your staff! Everyone is so pleasant and we are very happy to visit anytime we have to be in the area. We’d Love to be there on May 29th for a graduation we must attend but you are all booked up and we can see why! "

"Lovely place to stay and the warmth and feel of an old Inn is wonderful. Happy and hope to return for a longer stay some day."

"Pool was broken/closed, breakfast was horrible: bagels were frozen,no coffee for over 20 minutes, bananas were spotted, milk was warm, was busy staff not keeping up on supply of eggs and sausage. The shower had very slippery surface but did like the drainage system in shower."

"The place was clean, and the staff was amazing. It’s an old motel, which would be nice if it were improved. However, I really appreciated the sparkles and the good smell. No cigarettes at all, and the bathroom was shining. Very close to the UConn campus, about 7 minutes, and very convenient."

"Room was fine, clean. The guests upstairs were very inconsiderate and we heard everything they/their kids were doing. Very loud. The toilet paper holder in the bathroom literally pulled right out of the wall. Was not mounted. The shower did not turn on all of the way. Overall, it was a lot to pay for what we got."
