"The hotel was inexpensive, and the facilities are quite old. The housekeeping staff works hard to keep everything clean, but some areas need renovation. For example, the bathrooms need new grout, and the edges where the toilet meets the floor are old and cracked. During my stay, I also saw a cockroach on the bathroom floor, which I believe came from under the toilet.
The breakfast was continental—cereal, milk, bagels, and coffee—nothing impressive. However, for the price, it was acceptable.
Out of the three employees I interacted with at the front desk, two were friendly, but one was not. He did not respond to my greetings or acknowledge my thanks for the service.
