"Really nice place"

"This is one of the best motels I've stayed at of late. The bathroom was ultra-clean with good shower heads; the bed was very good. The electric blinds were really cool. The pool and hot-tub were great. Breakfast was excellent. There was fresh-ground coffee 24/7. The room was spacious with a side couch also. Eating options nearby were good. Every little detail was taken care of in the motel."

"Small room - room with king bed didn’t have night stands on both sides. Needed to use plug next to sink to charge phone. Only 3 hangers. Floor and bathtub needs a good cleaning Lady that checked us in was unfriendly. Appreciated refrigerator that worked well, and microwave"

"Our room was not clean, in the bathroom there was a small pile of dirt in the corner. The mattress was lumpy, wallpaper beginning to peel, and the whole place seemed tired and run down. Breakfast was either these rubbery omelet things with an option of biscuits and gravy or powdered eggs with sausage. Other choices were cereals, bagels, or waffles- All high carb stuff. Ugh. We will be staying at Holiday Inn next time in Ely. The only good thing was the location of Ridley's next door for grabbing...

"I stayed here for a week, and for the price I'd stay again. First, there's the Virtual Front Desk (or whatever it's called). I get that it's probably a way to save on staffing, but that thing gave me the ick every morning when I went to grab coffee. The toilet had a personality. It would only flush if I stood there holding the handle down until the entire flush was finished. Not the end of the world, just...odd. I upgraded to a room with a microwave and refrigerator because nightly popcorn is...

"The staff were all accommodating and kind. We experienced a breakdown on our way in and knew our check in was going to be reallyblate. They assured me our room was ready and staff would be available at all times. We arrived 12:30 a.m. and all was ready. The next morning we had to rent a trailer and get the stranded vehicle while I stayed at the room with our luggage. The extended our check out time even though housekeeping was done with all the rooms except ours. All were so very nice. Great...

"AC worked microwave did not work satellite in and out. 1 minute on minute off no ice machine no coffee machine controller for TV does not work place run down and dirty stay at your own risk I will not be back "

"Funky, with spirit! I love the fact that the new owners were up front about their investment in the older property and passionate about gradually bringing it up to speed. It’s a classic motel in need of care, which means in need of customers. The room was totally clean, easy access, and easy parking for a motorcycle. I’m sure I’ll stay again, as it’s on my US 50 route for road trips. Keep this one going!"
