Beautiful setting and a great view from our room, looking out to Lake Seneca. Staff were lovely and really helpful and after visiting other wine vineyards, we actually thought ours was the best and we purchased a few bottles!

The staff were extremely helpful. The breakfast was very good with a decent variety of food. The room was a good size with wonderful views of the lake.
A stunning place for a short stay.

Cabin was great, so clean and really well equipped, we asked for a couple of extra items. These turned up almost immediately with some extras that we hadn’t thought about. Fantastic location, mega peaceful and the lake was amazing!

This B and B is the most welcoming we have stayed at. The house which is a Victorian gem was clean and beautifully presented by Ashley and Dave the owners who were on hand to give help and recommendations for the nearby wineries, breweries, restaurants and other tourist attractions. The star at Burdett House is Hudson the dog who has been named in many reviews and rightly so. Our room had no closets but that had been made clear in the description prior to booking and otherwise was exceptional...

Enjoyed my stay at this great motel. Stayed in one of the cottages with a full kitchen for best part of a week. Very comfortable. It's in a great location for the various state parks in the region with their many waterfalls - Robert H Treman and Buttermilk are 2 minutes drive, Taughannock 20 minutes, and central Ithaca is less than 10 minutes. Friendly and very helpful staff. Recommended.

We had a lovely relaxing stay in a lodge. Room was clean, plenty big enough for the 3 of us. We enjoyed the fire pit of an evening and it was a really chilled environment. The view is beautiful.
Only a 5 minute drive to Watkins glen and we never struggled to park for free on the street.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, there are holiday rentals close to the most popular sights in Mecklenburg, or you can select a more secluded option if you're looking for a relaxing stay.
What’s there to see and do in Mecklenburg?
While exploring the area, visit family-friendly sights like EcoVillage at Ithaca, or get outside and enjoy nature at Taughannock Falls State Park. Grist Iron Brewing Company and Hector Falls are a couple of places you'll find in the wider area.
What’s a holiday rental in Mecklenburg like?
Holiday rentals are privately owned properties you can book for a few days, or a quick weekend, in Mecklenburg. Holiday rentals feature amenities such as WiFi and washers and dryers so you'll have all the comforts of home. If you're concerned about a sanitised environment, a holiday rental can offer a sense of seclusion away from public hotel lifts and lobbies packed with people while still allowing you a great travel experience.
