"Unsatisfactory service from the staff. we stayed there for 1 day. During the booking from Hotels.com, we had included breakfast with our stay. Even after showing the email confirmation of our reservation which clearly mention the "free breakfast", they continued to argue with us that the reservation on their side shows "stay only" & if we want breakfast , it has to be chargeable & we should get a...

10/10 Excellent

One night stay to experience the Periyar reserve close by. Our room was enormous and located near the very back of the property. Sadly building works are directly next to the property so we heard angle grinding. Mgr tried to stop them but only the rain did. Staff amazing. Food delicious. Great cocktails and beers. Breakfast sumptuous! Many many options to choose. Lovely hotel with nature every where. Peaceful (mostly) oasis. We did the Nature walk. Some confusion over timings etc meant we were...

This is a great hotel with excellent staff. The cottages were excellent, spacious, well spread out and located in a beautifully manicured gardens amidst dense forest. The staff is professional, pleasant, effective and very courteous. The food at the venue is excellent. The facilities at the hotel are great. The view point at the hotel is mesmerising. The only downside is the road leading to the hotel - it is dire. This needs urgent attention. I will not hesitate to go back to this excellent...

8/10 Good

Stayed here 3 nights. It's a small family run establishment. Good location close to the entrance to the reserve and 15 mins walk from the reserve ticket office and pick-up point for the reserve trips. Spacious, room with balcony overlooking fields where mongooses and monkeys were playing, and the forest. Room facilities were a bit basic and room looked damp but this was to be expected given the local climate and the amount paid. Breakfast was delivered to the room every morning because the...
