"Stay was during May-25 at the Akohara retreat in Ubud. On arrival greeted by staff with flower garland, drinks and local traditional dance. This is definitely a couples retreat. Our room was six levels down a mountain, some 405 steps down. We used the inclinator elevator to travel between our room and main pool and restaurant. "Great property close to everything in Canggu. The staff was great. Had a few minor issues that were resolved quickly. The walk from the main street is longer than expected an dark at night so be mindful of that. And, a lot of dogs around just so you know. "
