DO NOT BOOK, THIS PROPERTY HAS CLOSED DOWN! We only found this out after arriving to find the building closed up with nobody around and assigns h the door saying no longer in business. We booked through last-minute less than a week before, were charged for the stay and only found out on arrival, with no alternative. Other guests in similar situation turned up also, absolutely infuriatingly irresponsible.

I arrived with 2 over excited kids in tow and stood infront of shut doors. no communication, no answering the phone, nothing.... a security officer told me via phone that the entire complex is closed. extremely disappointed and I got stood up

This propery is looking very tired and in need of TLC. I understand COVID has been tough but there was a major plumbing issue with water running down the front path in 2 places. Probably the cause of no hot water so i couldnt shower in the morning. No washers supplied so unable to even do a body wash. Room was musty so when i arrived all windows were open making the room cold. Lucky i was only there for a short time. The welcome was friendly and good location.

I received an excellent, warm and friendly welcome from Hazel the Receptionist, upon arrival. She informed me of all the Apartment amenities and shopping facilities opposite the Albert Heights Apartments. I chose to stay at the apartments as I had to have a medical procedure opposite St Vincent’s Hospital and I had to rest for 48 hours following the procedure and I could not drive until rested. As this was during COVID Lockdown, I did not want to stay in a hotel. Albert Heights Apartments was perfect for my needs, with a separate kitchen, lounge room, bedroom, bathroom and toilet. The apartment was very clean, spacious and quiet, close to the beautiful Treasury Gardens.

Location was great for a hospital stay. Price was great. I would have preferred to have paid more and had a cleaner apartment. All furnishings were worn and tired, carpet was very dirty, blankets were all really terrible and it was cold. I’m afraid my apartment has had its day and I could not recommend it.

Reception wasn’t open during the hours advertised on the website and there was no one to check us in. The apartments were very old and didn’t look like the pictures. Booked for two nights but only stayed one. The furniture was old and uncomfortable or broken. The tap in the kitchen fell off while using it, and there was a huge spider and spider webs in the shower. Overall, very disappointing and would not recommend staying here.

Older style appartment

We were staying overnight for a dinner at the Park Hyatt and wanted cheaper accommmodation! Albert Heights is an easy walk across the park, excellent value for a large comfortable appartment. Some difficulty cheacking in but once this was resolved all went well. Car parking is tight. The building is old and used by hopsital patients and visitors, many of whom are frail, so it is a different experience compared to other places to stay but ideal for a night or two close to the city. A little street nosie as we were at the front of the building but quiet later
