Staff were helpful from the beginning of our stay to the end. Room was comfortable spacious and light with everything we needed to make ourselves comfortable. The hotel felt like and functioned as home during our whole holiday. Amazing value for such a beautifully appointed hotel. And the location is unbeatable

At this price point, it's all about clean room and location location location. Friendly staff, hotel reception is 24 hours. Room is clean but tired old (yet functional) furnishings including a small hot plate installed kitchenette*, the room size suitable for long term student accommodation (for one) and no carpet (which is great for making sure the floor is clean unlike old carpet) and a compact ensuite shower and toilet en suite. * Bar fridge, Fry pan and minor crockery and utensils plus cleaning aids supplied but I don't recommend cooking in such confined space (although there's rudimentary hoodware), no microwave) Location is fantastic within walking distance to tram stops, major fast food outlet and pubs, small Asian restaurants (eat in or takeaway) (all these literally between 3-10mins walk) Would come back again for short trip (1-2 nights for solo traveller or maybe a couple if you are using it strictly for sleeping)

YTI Gardens Hotel is a very good budget hotel. Being an older property, it doesn’t have the elegance of newer establishments but as somewhere to clean up and to sleep after a day out and about, it is amply adequate. It is in an ideal location in the city Centre and it is so close to tram services to everywhere. The staff were all very genuinely pleasant. I would definitely stay at YTI Gardens again.
