"Difficult to get ahold of the admin and unless I casually found the general admin of the building supervising the premises I wouldn’t have gotten ahold of the laundry door entry codes. Communication was poor. Too many info request to get the access code for day 1. Location is great. Places to eat, shop, visit and transportation incomparable "

"Lovely local area - very authentically Italian. However 40 mins drive uphill from main Como lake and city, 25 mins drive to the local lake area advertised on site. Parking extremely difficult as busy with restaurant and the locals. Restaurants/shops nearby are delicious and very cheap in comparison to down in Como. Views are beautiful and the accommodation itself if nice. "

"Staff allowed our whole family to relax in the spa since our room wasn’t ready. Only downside was that my daughter got bit by a poisonous spider and it caused her to not be able to walk with shoes. This happened at the villas, not the hotel bc it was just opening for the season and probably had a lot of bugs hiding out. They gave us champagne on arrival and staff was super kind to us. "

"Lovely little property in Lenno, excellent directions, clean apartment with comfortable bed. On the Greenway trail (walking path to ther towns). Very close to Lake Como, with boat stop in Lenno (limited service), much more options for ferries/water taxi just north in Cadenabbia. Only downside is you really need a car to get around (which we had); onsite parking is provided."

"Für unseren Besuch des Moon and Stars in Locarno sind wir im Hotel Sasso Boretto abgestiegen. Schon der Empfang war ausgesprochen freundlich, das gesamte Personal war zuvorkommend und freundlich. Das Hotel ist gepflegt und sauber, nur etwas altmodisch. Das Moon and Stars zu besuchen macht aber angesichts der enormen Preise nicht mehr wirklich Spass, haben wir doch für unser Zimmer doppelt so viel bezahlt, wie es sonst kosten würde. "Good apartment, good host, small town with everything nearby. Really good. It was a little bit warm and without a fan was not so comfortable, but for 1 or 2 nights was ok. The host gave us some excellent tipps where to eat and visit, it was great. "
