"Belle surprise"

"This is the second time we have stayed and we found it just as good as the first time, a month ago. A lovely large room overlooking the canal, very clean, the only drawback being the small , steep set of stairs to the bathroom - a bit perilous in the middle of the night! Also, as I was finishing my shower in the morning the hot water suddenly ran out. The breakfast was wonderful - fresh bread, croissants, home made yoghurt, home made jam, and a homemade custard pie! "

"Wonderful accommodation and hosts, ideal for a trip to Ypres. Easy walking distance to the Yorkshire Trench. Ypres is only a couple of miles down the road. Our hosts were fantastic and the breakfast plentiful. Expansive views over the surrounding area. Very much recommended."

"Séjour remarquable dans cette chambre d'hôte. Chambre magnifique, très spacieuse, cosy et très joliment décorée. Il y avait aussi un petit coin détente avec bouilloire et machine à café à notre disposition. Literie impeccable. La maison des propriétaires est magnifique, situation géographique ( plein centre ville) sans nuisance sonore, à la frontière Belge. Les propriétaires sont d'une grande gentillesse, très accueillants, au petit soin pour nous et c'est avec bonheur que nous avons partagé...

"This B and B was simply amazing from top to bottom. Ann, our host was easily available before and during our stay. Our room was immaculate and spacious with a very comfortable bed. The grounds were beautiful with many different sitting areas in a park like setting. The breakfast was delicious and fresh. Ann went out of her way to make us feel welcome and made many good suggestions for our visit to Ypres. We highly recommend this B and B! "

"Wat een ontzettend aardige familie die ontzettend haar best doet om het de gasten zo goed mogelijk naar de zin te maken. Mooie inrichting, gemoedelijk sfeer als je iets wil drinken maak een briefje met je kamer nummer en schrijf je op wat je drinkt. Zelf was ik erg gecharmeerd van de vele dichtbundels waar je lekker in kon lezen. We gaan zeker nog een keer terug."
