"The room was dirty and dated. It appeared the door had been kicked in recently and had not been fixed. The sheets smelled like dirty feet. We did not have a chance to use the pool but it did look nice and like it was well maintained. The breakfast was good, but I could never recommend anyone to stay here based on those redeeming qualities alone."

"This is a great location with all the amenities! The pool was awesome, the views are great. There’s hiking and horse back riding on the property as well as SPA treatments. We ate at the restaurant but was not impressed with the food. However you may not have a lot of dining options and at least it was available! My only complaint was the AC was very loud and did not seem to cool the room down."

"This is a very unique property. You can rent a suite, or a cabin.. we had the King Suite. Adorable, clean, a fireplace for winter. On the balcony in the morning before breakfast we got to see two fawns and two adult deer grazing. What a treat! The property is off the highway, so we couldn’t hear the traffic. Breakfast was good, with choices of a kind of quiche (no crust), bacon, bagels, and make your own waffles. Even though the bed seemed a little too hard for me, we would stay here again!"

"Perfect for our trip into North Cascades National Park. Western themed town of Winthrop was quaint and wonderful. Hotel was clean, but worn down, about what we expected . Staff super friendly. If you’re out this way, I would recommend."

"The Mt Gardner Inn is a good place to stay when you're in the cute town of Winthrop, WA. I was in room 4. I expected a mountain view, but this room is beside the back parking lot. I think the rooms in the back building looked much nicer. The bed was comfortable and it's nice there is a good refrigerator plus microwave."
