This hotel is an excellent quality for the price, connected to the airport terminal through an overpass that is safe and clean. The restaurants within the facility are high quality. The possibility of early check in is an advantage after a ling flight. I highly recommend this hotel

The room was very nice and the bed was very comfortable. On my arrival, the bellhop was very helpful and took my luggage to my room. Check in was quick and WiFi instructions were clear. The shower was great and towels were clean.

El Camino Real del Aeropuerto historically has been considered the very best hotels in the city but for sure at the airport. The rooms were clean, elegant with fine finishes. As a kid this was a highlight of our travels to Mexico City, if our flight arrived late or left early we would always stay here. I especially loved eating at the restaurant. However, the last decade has been just ok, the beds are great, but the bathrooms are showing wear and much tear, cracked countertops and tile, broken fixtures and chipped furnishings. I stopped staying here for those reasons, but was never sure if it’s just the Expedia rooms that I get assigned to or a hotel wide issue. The breakfast that’s included is good, and the bar is better, but it’s the staff is what makes this place run well. They’re receiving hundreds of guests with smiles and kindness and that’s why I keep coming back here.

This hotel is a good option for a layover at MEX airport. Bridge from terminal 1 or shuttle at t2. Bridge just as fast to t2. Be forewarned — check-in wait is ridiculously long. There should be a separate line for people who have reservations/pre paid. There isn’t , and you sit for 40+ minutes as they’ll desk seems to check in people old school style, 10+ minutes for many guests. Since I’d reserved / paid beforehand, my check in was 1 minute. I asked if the huge wait was normal and the desk attendant said “yes.” So get ready.

When I got to the counter I asked for a quiet room. The lady who help me just said, go and check the room first! We did! It had a bad smell and an ambulance just passed with the siren open. We returned to the counter and asked for a different room. We saw a face that implied we were a nuisance to them. I didn’t like a bit their attitude. We got a different room quiet, clean, but the pillows cases smell really bad. Like unwashed hair. Nasty!! We stayed there because we were really tired. I have stayed in this hotel for many years, but since the pandemia it’s been going downhill. It was my last time there!
