"La Pentera is a unique property and it is conveniently located around 30 minutes drive to the entrance of the Udawalawe National Park. Our host is very friendly and helpful, going above and beyond our expectations and making sure we have the best time in the property. The evening walk around the lake area is awesome, and the hammocks, swings and mini rock climb is nice too. "We had an amazing stay at Mansala Safari House. The hosts are very kind and welcoming, and the house itself is clean and comfortable. The hosts arranged two safaris for us which were both excellent; the driver picked us up directly from the accommodation and was very knowledgeable about the park. "Det var det charmigaste och mest genuina hotell vi bodde på under våra två veckor på Sri Lanka. Mannen och frun som drev detta mycket familljära hotellet var otroligt vänliga och hjälpsamma. Maten var vällagad och god och värd att vänta på. Hotellet ligger endast 5 minuters bilfärd till nationalparken. Det är dessutom mycket prisvärt. Kan varmt rekommenderas. "

"The highlight of our stay was definitely the staff and the food. Special call out for the manager Sanjeev, who really went out of his way to make sure we’d have a great time. Beautiful rooms (though a bit noisy), very nice bedding, to be honest just beautiful all around. The food at breakfast was the best we had in Sri Lanka, and their curry … outstanding.
