Car parking is provided but limited. Luckily we got the last slot when checked in at late night. The room is comfortable, spacial and valuable. We had a peacful stay there. But there is no convenience store in walking distance. Better buy all the things you need before check-in.

Very modern take on the Japanese business hotel. Bed very comfortable. Staff at reception gave great suggestion on dining options. The udon restaurant 3mins walk away was wonderful

Great option for Biz trips & vacation

Unlike other Fairfield by Marriott Hotels i have stayed at in the past (in Jpn), this one is fairly conveniently/centrally located near shops, restaurants and the whirlpool tours. Only drawback is that it means more noise, fewer outdoor areas etc than others. Still a very good option

Pleasant stay

Very convenient location in Fukura near bus terminal from Kobe, free bus stops for sightseeing, the Japanese-type puppet play theatre, and sightseeing boat slip to see Naruto whirl tides. You can enjoy fresh seafood restaurants as well. Room was nicely designed and comfortable. We enjoyed common area for relaxing on a sofa with reading books there, computing and having breakfast at table while having free drinks. I liked its calm and quiet atmosphere. Only negative point was the bed's mattress was little bit too soft for me.

Comfort and Convenience in Fukura, Awajishima

Great hotel! The staff was kind and helpful, and the location is excellent--just a short walk from the port and the bus station, with plenty of options for restaurants, and a grocery store and a Lawsons close by. The hotel was in excellent condition, nicely decorated, clean, cool, and well stocked. The complimentary coffee and tea in the lounge area were much appreciated, and though we didn't use it, the little kitchenette there would have come in handy had we needed a microwave. The frig in the room and potto with instant coffee and tea was also appreciated. Highly recommended!

You need to have a car but otherwise, this hotel was a good base to travel to and from Tokushima, take a boat trip to the Naruto whirlpools and visit local beaches. The lack of onsite restaurant and a common area to cook and eat in made for a relaxed feel which was a pleasant change from other more hectic hotels we had stayed in before this one. The staff were amazing, going above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome and had all the information we needed about the local area. One thing to note is that the hotel cannot currently arrange luggage forwarding to your next hotel. Staff did find the local Yamato depot for us and helped as much as they could but if we had not had a car, it would not have been possible.
