"Worst part of the whole stay was that I woke up and my room was INFESTED with little ants. They weren’t there the night before. And I was on third floor so they didn’t come from under the door. It was bad. Other than that, the front desk guy the night I checked in was rude, could barely hear him as he mumbled, not a please or thank you to be found. "Clean but pretty run down. The toilet seat had a crack in it, there was no way toilet paper holder, and the blinds didn’t open. It had a fridge and microwave in the room and was clean, but it needs some love. The WiFi also didn’t work very well. "

"Parking is super easy and across the street, the breakfast was absolutely wonderful & the tea was delicious! The innkeeper was very pleasant to interact with, and the rooms were absolutely adorable & extremely well kept, well stocked, and comfortable!"

"This building is beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. We stayed in "Kate's Room" and the bits of history and decor were elegant and deliberate. We had everything we needed and more. The bed was comfortable, and the house was quiet. We will, without a doubt, stay at the Shamokin BnB again if we find ourselves in Shamokin."
