"The owners were friendly and hospitable! The room was recently renovated and had top quality amenities and furniture and very clean. The room rate was quite reasonable. Parking right out front. 2 beautiful Herman Miller chairs to sit in and relax by the room door. Everything inside and outside was perfect and I would stay here any time I'm in this town!!"

"We had issues when we first arrived, but the staff were very helpful, and remedied the situation. We found it that a lot of extra expenses should have been included with our stay, like an extra $60 a day to use towels, a $30 fee a day for parking, and an extra charge to use the water inflatables for the kids. Also, for a 5 star hotel, I expect the food to be expense - no problem there, but I also expect the quality to be 5 star. Cottages and Lakes restaurants did not live up to that at all. Beyond those things, you'll find the accommodations lovely, and the staff are wonderful."

"I don't typically stay at motels but we were pleasantly surprised. when we pulled in we were very hesitant as the motel looked a little run down. The doors were all grey and ruffed up. When I went to check in I joked with the gentleman that I hope he was giving me his finest room (as it appeared sketchy). He then said it had recently been renovated and not to look at the door lol Once inside I was pleasantly surprised. I had hardwood floors throughout (huge plus for me) and the shower was a rainfall shower head with glass doors, nicely done. I found it nice and clean and the staff was very helpful when we discovered our TV didn't work but they were quick to come and set it up. The breakfast was good for continental, good selection of cereals, toast, bagels, hot beverages etc. Have already recommended this to my family if they are wanting to stay in Bracebridge, We also walked from the hotel to downtown which was about 20 mins. Close to a lot of ammenities"
