"This property has wonderful views. Comfy beds. The floors and log burner were covered in dust. The quilt cover had no presstuds that actually stuck together so during the night the cover was nearly off the quilt which was quite stained. The glass dinning table was definitely not child friendly very easy to knock into the corners for little ones. "Hotel is in a good location, ample parking. It's a stately building fairly well maintained, though the elevator access on floor 1 is hindered by the carpeting that restricts the door from opening. Yes you have to manually open the door to access the 50 + year old elevator and make sure it doesnt swallow any body part when the door closes, very cool. The food in the attached restaurant/ pub was good, though the service was hindered by only 1 person doing everything, hotel check in and restaurant duties."
