I had a lovely 4-night stay in my cosy 1st floor single room in late February. The charming reception staff - all lovely young ladies - were always there to help and offer advice. My room was warm and well equipped, the bed supremely comfortable and the large bathroom was a delight to use. There was always a welcome selection of cakes and fruit available and the coffee machine produced unexpectedly good coffee, with a variety of teabags to choose from.
