"The property lay out is great. There’s tables with lights and fans in semi private settings scattered throughout these beautiful flower gardens. The breakfast is cooked fresh with a wide variety of different choices. The coffee was hot and fresh. The included breakfast was unlike any I’ve seen. Made to order! Located very close to downtown. We enjoyed a great stay and would definitely stay here again."

"Breakfast on Friday was great. Breakfast and staff on Saturday was not. I asked for Oatmeal at 9am, when Breakfast went until 10.. and was told there was no more. There were 2 kinds of omelets and 2 kinds of Sausage. Friday was scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon and sausage. I guess they down the food for a full hotel. The room and front desk staff were great. Was weird to have to request a coffee pot, but they have them packed in a bag ready at front desk for you to take to room."

"The Garden Gate is a wonderful place, and I hope it will remain that way after is sold by the current owners. Carol the current owner has taken so much pride in her facility and invested so much of herself operating her business. Her influence is everywhere, but she has decided it is time for a new venture in her life, and so well deserved for her and Doug. We wish them the best as we do the new owners. If we make it back to Amish country, I would not hesitate to reserve another room."

"This is an excellent place to stay if you are cycling on nearby trails. The staff is accommodating to cyclists. The hotel is down the sidewalk less than 50 yards off the bike trail."
