Historic Griffin Hotel

"As I approached the front desk, Ms Laura greeted me with a warm welcome and brilliant smile. She confirmed my reservation and provided a briefing of the hotel’s amenities. Being that the hotel was historical, I assumed old. On the contrary. The atmosphere equates to a ‘home away from home vibe’, exceeding my expectations. The interior was well maintained with modern features to include a piano and a well stocked bar in the foyer. The rooms are exquisitely decorated. The bedding is extremely comfortable. The staff were all friendly, welcoming, and kind. Ms. Laura provided over and above care to me by answering questions and writing out driving instructions to a wedding venue in Milner. The care and kindness of the staff is hands down the best. I had such a delightful stay. I highly recommend."

"Very quiet, beautiful location with a wonderful view of the valley from the ridgetop. The room was a bit small and lacked a dining table with a couple of chairs that would have been useful for having lunch or playing a game in the evening, but clean and well appointed for a short stay. Wifi was decent and easy to access, staff was helpful and friendly. Overall a good location for day trips around the area, priced at a reasonable rate."

"Lovely old hotel, rooms too small for family of 4. Plumbing was not great, we struggled turning the shower off and getting hot water. Excellent location. And easy to park."
