B&B di Monaragala

"Really beautiful view and lovely location, even with the occasional train passing by (if anything, it added to the charm). Very kind and helpful hosts, who loaned their umbrellas to us and accommodated our last minute change of breakfast time when we were running late from a morning hike. They also packed our breakfast to go when we checked out early on our last day. Walking along the train tracks is by far the best way to get to town and back in under 10 minutes. The paved road is quite windy...

"The room was huge and the facility was very basic. The guy at the reception was very kind to show me the short cut to the town. Wi-Fi worked well. Warm water was available but I had to bath from tap as water pressure from showerhead was too weak. It is because I stayed during the rainy days, I felt the room damp and bed little smelly...Considering the price and location, I could not ask for more."

"Midden in de jungle 2 heerlijke kamers met warme douche, prima bed, airco en fan bij een zeer gastvrije familie. Maken, als je dat wilt, een heerlijk diner voor je klaar. Ook kan hij een zeer persoonlijke safari voor je regelen incl ontbijt in de jungle. Ze hebben echt alle tijd voor je."

"Vi bodde aldrig på detta boende. Det bvar fruktansvärt svårt att hitta vi hittade inte det. Det hade underlättat om hotellet hade marknadsfört sig bättre med att sätta ut vägskyltar som de andra hotellen hade gjort. Tvungna att sluta leta det blev för mörkt. Vi fick ta ett annat boende nere i Ella. hälsning från Thomas o Pia febr-20"

"It was awesome to stay here. Service was on hight point. Very delicious food. Breakfast is free and also lunches and dinners are available. Very quite place with magnificent view on mountains. The room was clean and spacious. The staff was really hight skilled. Totally recommend this place, no matter what kind of vacation do you have"

"The staff was friendly and helpful and the garden/courtyard was nice. The balcony had a lovely view, and the room had reasonable amenities such as a mini fridge. However, the construction of the room could have been better. The curtains didn't actually cover all the windows, so from some angles a person outside could potentually see in. More importantly, the bath fan/window wasn't well fitted and had some gaps. They had mosquito netting over the bed, but it would have been better to fill those...
