"Myself and my partner only stayed for one night. The cabin was very clean and cosy with everything we needed for our short break. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent, things that not all places we have stayed get right. We used it as a stop off on our trip to photograph the mountains and surrounding areas, this was the perfect stop off for what we wanted. Thank you for the stay, it made our break, we will definitely be booking again."

"The Haslem is an excellent choice Hotel to stay if you are visiting this area or Belfast, the stay was wonderful, the included breakfast was fantastic, the proximity to the local train station to get Downtown Belfast was easy and walking distance away, I would recommend this place and would definitely stay here again. "At check in we were greeted and walked to our room. We were a little early for our reservation and we were allowed right in. Owner showed us around and was incredibly friendly. Other visitors told us some great hiking locations to check out. Continental breakfast laid out nicely. Beautiful view of Mourne Mountains. "

"Just a lovely spot, 5 minutes driving from town and the shore in Newcastle, 15 or so to some great hiking trails. Grounds are very nice and there’s a gentle climb down to the river, a beautiful spot on the patio to sit out for a drink or morning coffee — and the breakfast was excellent as well (I had to go for the Ulster Fry (similar to the Full English) both mornings. Wish we could have stayed longer, but hope to go back. Seems to be a holiday spot for the Irish and those from the UK, not...

"The rooms were great. There's a spa/pool, but we weren't there enough to access. The restaurant and lounge were very comfortable - Annie, in the restaurant, made our day! She ensured we tried foods at the buffet, had great stories and cared! The lounge area had music (person w/guitar) and all of our food was great. This was in an area of Belfast I hadn't seen before - hidden! We took a cab to go into the city proper which was really only 5-10 min. Well worth staying here."
