It was a great place to crash and wake up refreshed! The outdoor maintenance of property including the sign could use a major flashy paint job or something more alluring. The whole area of Monticello needs an uplift of sunshine as opposed to the depressive scenery.

I stayed 2 nights. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff was cordial, knowledgeable and flexible. I would stay here again when passing through. The tv and refrigerator worked well. It would be better if they had an ice machine on the premises and a coffee maker in room, neither of which they had. Air conditioner worked but takes a little figuring out how to use. Better than your average Super 8

Worst hotel I've ever stayed in, which was truly out of desperation. Booked a double queen, got a single king, the room smelled awful from decades of smoking, and they had the Gaul to remind us we had a non-smoking room. No hot water, garbage left in bathroom, flies throughout especially the bathroom, and the tv did not work. This "hotel" should be taken off of Expedias options, so no one has to go through what we did.

Checked in and the garbage wasn’t emptied and the sheets were changed. Staff was good about getting us new sheets and re making the bed. Property is under construction and getting face lift.

Upon locating the property. , the outside was so run down we could not even get ourself s to check in . Homeless people and drug addicts on the outside of the property . The building was so run down it looked like something out of a horror movie !!! We honestly thought the place was closed down to be torn down !! No thank you

The room had new furniture but it was old and musty. There was no warm water regardless of how long the water ran. The area has old mattresses and garbage in the hotel parking lot. The buildings surrounding it are boarded up and sirens all night. We went after a concert so it was cheap however, I wouldn’t recommend it.

This location is way overpriced, it is highly undermaintained and a grim albeit clean-enough way to spend a night in the gravest extremes of needing a place to sleep. Depressing, felt dangerous, exposed, weird and unnerving. Hot water did not work and navigation failed to find it three times. The main sign at the road had fallen down.

Horrible stay. Pictures showed a room with 2 queen beds and all there was was 1 full size bed. The place was nasty. The lights did not work. Expedia customer service was no help. Got taken to the cleaners and paid $310 for the room. Called Expedia to get a refund and the would not help. I will think twice about using Expedia again. Don’t stay here!! Terrible customer service.

I hate to write a bad review, but this was one of the worst places I’ve checked into. We didn’t even stay overnight. We checked in at 9 PM and left at 11:30 PM deciding to drive the four hours home in the middle of the night. We didn’t feel safe in the rundown area and we’re worried we would wake up to our car being trashed. We were the only people in the parking lot aside from a man who was smoking and drinking beer for two hours. He was then pacing around in front of our hotel room on the balcony while talking loudly on the phone. The room had a strange smell, and there were no sheets provided for the pullout bed. There was a door in the room that was jammed shut, but on an angle, so the top part was jammed open, and anyone on the other side could look in we still don’t know what the door was. After trying to sleep, a very bright blue light flashed into our room three times and that was enough to know we wouldn’t get any sleep. The woman at the front desk was very nice and that’s the only positive thing I can say. This is my first time leaving a hotel after checking in. I should’ve listened to the reviews - save yourself the trouble.

The room was clean and it had been recently renovated. The amenities were lacking - air conditioning didn’t work well, no hair dryer, no coffee/tea, no cups. The staff person on duty was learning a new computer system and check in took 25 minutes. We ended up getting charged twice for the room and the incidental charge was on our card 4 times. I had to call the number left on the door as the office was not open at 8:15. The person I spoke with said she left my paperwork out for the manager. She didn’t want to listen to my concern about the duplicate charges and hung up on me.
