"There is a lot to like about this hotel, but also, it is not for everyone. Pros: The gym is very nice. Our floor had a filtered water dispenser (much appreciated!). I don't usually opt for having breakfast included, but I did this time, and I am glad I did. Breakfast is at Monte, a cafe next to the hotel, and it was excellent and generous. The hotel has a very cozy bar and a large shared workspace with individual cubicles excellent for teleconferencing. Housekeeping was prompt. It's very near a lovely walk along the bay with lots of restaurants. Cons: The room was small. There was no desk, and only one chair. The towels were thin. The biggest con is the bed. It is inserted into the back of the room with no space around it at all. With this odd arrangement, one person has to clamber over the other to get in or out of the bed. Bottom line: I would stay there again if traveling alone, but probably not if I was with my husband."
