"I don’t typically leave reviews. But this was one of the most disgusting places I’ve ever been to. We don’t even end up staying the night. We travel a lot as my kids play travel ball and always stay at residence inns so this was my first choice. It took about 5 minutes to actually get my key card to work on the door. The hotel's location, conveniently situated off a major highway, was remarkably peaceful, with no noticeable noise from the highway. "I was pleasantly surprised at the authenticity of the building and decor of the 18th century era. The owner puts great effort into making it an enjoyable experience. As a history fan this place surpassed my expectations. The breakfast was wonderful too!"

"Not what it used to be a few years ago when we had a great long weekend. The guest they allow here trash the outside and is not being maintained. They shouldn’t be pet friendly. The outside stank of dog poop which you could see! And the 1st flr hallway smelled of wet dog mixed with cigarets. Also, someone left their dog by itself in the hallway one night. From the inside of the room you can hear EVERYTHING! Same thing from outside the room. This is what ruined our stay."
