The property is clean, well maintained, and had family-friendly amenities. There are staff who do check backs which is a good thing but during our stay, we experienced a few disappointing incidents. At check in, the front desk agent was quite busy with her phone that she may not have noticed me sitting on a chair in front, waiting for her to call me after she was done with her previous guest. When she didn't call me, I spoke out to say I'm checking in and that's when I was accommodated. During dinner, my husband commented that the karekare was a bit bland and meat was hard to slice. The calamares was also not that crunchy anymore when it got to our table. Before bedtime, I called the guest services number so I can request for extra bottled water to be delivered to our room and packed breakfast to be picked up when we check out around 3am. The line kept ringing for around 1 minute until someone answered and after relaying my request, the staff acknowledged but as soon as I hung up, the staff called back to check how many packed breakfast I need and I replied three bec. that's what's included in our package. I didn't say this the first time bec I assumed that they would just check my reservation for its inclusions. She asked for the time of pick up and again I said 3AM. I waited for a couple of hours but the bottled water never came and I was just too tired to follow up. When we checked out, lo and behold, the packed breakfast could not be found and there was no endorsement.
